Rubble removal after renovation: loading, composition and quantity

Rubble may be beside the truck, in a garden or still being generated during demolition. For a removal quote, describe not only quantity but composition and how it will reach the loading point.

Three things to know

  • Describe the rubble's origin and actual composition.
  • Transfer to the truck and loading may not be included in the trip price.
  • Distinguish material ready now from future demolition.

Start with the rubble's origin and composition

State what work produced it, where it is stored and its known components. Attach wide views and close-ups. Divide removal into any sorting, transfer, loading, transport and receiving-site acceptance. Material of uncertain composition or unknown admixtures cannot be assessed by pile size alone.

Distinguish removal, loading and transfer to the truck

A pile at the entrance and bags at the rear of a house are different briefs. Give the exact position, distance to the truck, steps, thresholds, turns and passage dimensions. A truck may reach the street without equipment reaching the material itself.

Machine loading is not the same as carrying material out of an interior. If you need movement from a house or cellar, request it explicitly; provision needs separate confirmation. Transport alone promises neither flat clearance nor manual carrying of every bag.

Support quantities with the information available

For a pile, add approximate length, width and height and photographs from several sides. For bags, give the count and approximate fill. Neither establishes actual weight alone. Concrete pieces, hollow bricks and mixed material cannot all use the same estimate.

If you have a weighbridge ticket or a record of an earlier load of the same material, attach it as supporting information. Label estimates as estimates. Trip numbers are clarified for the load, actual vehicle and acceptance conditions, not a generic vehicle size label.

Confirm composition and receiving destination in advance

Clarify what is being removed, who arranges acceptance and the information or documents needed. For mixed material, verify conditions before loading starts. Transport price and acceptance cost are different items.

Suspected asbestos is not ordinary rubble. A joint statement by the Czech Ministries for Regional Development, Health and the Environment identifies asbestos-containing waste as hazardous and defines special handling rules. Do not break suspicious material to load it; arrange specialist determination of the next steps first. This text does not promise its removal through an ordinary transport service.

What should be separate in the quote

Compare the same work from the same starting point. A quote for loading a pile in front of a gate does not automatically cover bringing material from another part of the site. Each item needs a clear unit, included quantity and method for resolving differences from the estimate.

Define the result beforehand too: removal of the pile, or final area cleaning as well? If another firm follows, it needs to know what remains. Small residues, packaging or the surface beneath a pile may not belong to the same scope.

Example enquiry for an existing stockpile

'I need material removed after [renovation type] in [municipality]. It contains [known composition]. It is stored [location], with an approximate quantity of [figure and estimation method]. The truck can stand [description]. I also need [loading / transfer to the truck, if available]. Photographs of the material and full route are attached.'

SORTI offers material transport, loading and removal within an agreed scope. For Prague, Prague-West, Kladno, Beroun or another agreed location, send the actual site address. Access, load type and feasibility of the required handling are confirmed before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Demolition is finished. Can I enquire about removal only?

Yes. Describe the existing material, quantity, position and access. Loading and receiving-site acceptance are agreed for the actual job.

Does transport include carrying material out of the house?

Not automatically. List it as a separate request; feasibility and scope need confirmation.

Is the number of bags enough?

Add composition, fill level and photographs. Bag count alone does not establish weight or loading method.

What if I find unfamiliar old boards in the pile?

Report them before handling. Where hazardous material is suspected, specialist assessment of the next steps comes first.

Your next step

Send a material list and its location

Identify separate piles, known composition and the route to loading. Flag changes from the original agreement before booking the trip.
